Uhuru Kenyatta Sworn-In as the President of Kenya
Uhuru Kenyatta was sworn-in as the new President of Kenya
on 9 April 2013. He is the fourth president of Kenya.
Kenyatta clinched
victory in a tightly fought race for Kenya's presidency on 9 March 2013
against Raila Odinga.
It is very important to note that Uhuru
Kenyatta along with his deputy William Ruto are controversial figures as
they are wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) on charges of
crimes against humanity from alleged role in the country's 2007-2008
election.
