’s junior women hockey team created a history by clinching country’s first ever bronze medal in the junior women hockey World Cup as they defeated
England.
The Indian girls beat England 3-2 in the bronze medal play-off to finish on the podium – their best-ever showing in the marquee event. Captain Ms Sushila Chanu held that the entire team was delighted to have made the country proud.
